General Information 基本信息:

An advanced group of water-based HEAT-TREATING STOP-OFF Coating to control surface hardening of ferrous metals.

水性热处理防护涂料可以防止金属表面硬化。

Metseal offers an economical method of protecting selected surfaces during case hardening heat treatments. The coatings control the diffusion of gases into or out of metals. Metseal coatings form a protective mask during heat treating that can replace other expensive operations such as copper plating.

Metseal涂料可以在金属表面进行渗碳热处理时经济有效地保护金属表面,该涂料能控制气体扩散渗入或渗出金属。Metseal涂料在金属热处理时会形成一个防护层,可以替代一些昂贵的工序,如镀铜。

HOW TO USE THE COATINGS如何使用此涂料

Mixing Instructions配制说明:

For best results, the coatings should be well suspended and mixed. The coatings are supplied at consistency which can be adjusted for most coating techniques and processes. The consistency can be adjusted with water.

为达到最佳效果,涂料应充分搅匀。该防护涂料的粘稠度适用于大部分涂层技术和工艺。其稠度也可以用水调节。

 

Metal Preparation金属表面准备:

Metal surfaces must be free of dirt, oil, grease, metal oxides and other materials for best results.

金属表面必须无污垢、油污、油脂、金属氧化物和其他杂质才能有最好的结果。

 

How to Apply如何应用:

The water based coatings can be sprayed with conventional, electrostatic or airless spray systems. They may also be flow coated, dipped, or brushed. Be sure the coatings are applied evenly. A uniform thickness is important.

该水基防护涂料可以使用传统的喷涂工艺,静电喷涂或无空气喷涂工艺。它们也可以用流涂,浸涂或者刷涂。确保涂层均匀,均匀的涂层厚度很重要的。

 

Thickness涂层厚度:

The proper thickness depends on the time and temperature of the process. Generally the higher the temperature and the longer the time, the thicker the coating needs to be for the best results. Again, it is important that the coating be applied uniformly.

合适的厚度取决于工艺的时间和温度。一般温度越高,时间越长,涂层越厚效果越好。但是,最重要的还是涂层厚度一定要均匀。

 

Drying烘干:

The coating are water based and need to be dried before they enter the furnace. To accelerate the drying time the coatings may be applied over preheated metals. Metal preheated to 150° will dry in a few minutes. They may also be air dried or a force air dryer used. The coatings will dry to a hard film with excellent film strength. The hard film strength will minimize damage to the coating prior to entering the furnace.

因为该防护涂料是水性的,所以在进入热处理炉子前应干燥。想要加快干燥时间,该涂料可以涂覆在预热的金属表面上。预热到150°的金属,涂料可以在几分钟之内就变干。当然它们也可以在空气中风干,或者使用强力空气干燥器。涂料会变成一层强度干燥硬膜。这层硬膜强度可以有效防止金属在炉内受损。
