HOW TO APPLY BORON NITRIDE COATINGS 如何施涂硼氮涂料
Mixing Instructions：
For best results the coatings should be well suspended. The coatings are supplied at a consistency which can be adjusted for most coating processes.

Surface Preparation:表面准备
Metals: Surfaces must be free of grease, oil and dirt.金属：表面必须无油脂和脏污。

Application:
Coatings can be sprayed electrostatically, or with conventional equipment. The coatings can also be dipped, brushed, rolled or flow coated.

Thickness:
Boron Nitride coatings should be applied as a single layer. A thickness of .001″ to .010″ can be applied in a single layer without surface defects. Multiple layers can be applies if the base layer is thoroughly dried before the next film is applied. Usually at a thickness of .002″ to .005″ is sufficient for good non-wetting.

Air dry until the coating becomes hard. To accelerate drying times the substrate can be preheated to 200℉. Or forced air can be applied to the surface of the coating. The air temperature should be 200℉ to 300℉. The hardness of the coating will vary with the grade.

A group of Boron Nitride water based coatings formulated to protect or lubricate metals, glass, ceramics, composites and plastics. The coatings can be sprayed, dipped, paints or flow coated.

Boron Nitride coatings may be used in oxidizing atmospheres up to 850℃； reducing atmospheres up to 1372℃ and in a vacuum to 3000℃.

The water based coatings dry to a smooth film. The coatings come in varying degrees of hardness. Some coatings have excellent erosion resistance and are formulated for high wear protection. The soft films provide excellent lubrication as well as non-wetting properties. All the coatings have non-wetting and release properties for molten aluminum, magnesium and their drossed. Boron Nitride Coatings can also be used as a release agent for other molten metals.
